Essex Outdoor Cinema hosts a very special weekend of Outdoor Cinema at Brightlingsea Lido. Join us for Mamma Mia and Bohemian Rhapsody, hire a deckchair, grab a hot dog, nachos a drink or an ice cream and get yourself down to the Lido! This is the first Outdoor cinema at the lido now run as a Charity for the Brightlingsea Community.. Your support is very much appreciated..
Saturday nights screening is Bohemian Rhapsody FILM RATING 12a.
Bring a blanket, bring a picnic, bring your friends and join us for a magical evening under the stars. Join us for an evening of cinema and wonderful pre-show entertainment.
Gates open at 7pm and we will be opening the night with music and entertainment to get you all in the mood for the film which we aim to start at approximately 8.45pm, make sure you arrive early to nab the best spot! Please bear with us if we do need to start a little late, as we are reliant on light conditions being right.
Food & Drink
Food and drink can be purchased on site at the Lido Cafe or Bar. Please Note : Glass is not permitted on site and the pool will be closed.
Other Stuff..
We have booked a nice warm evening, but when the sun does go down it can get chilly, so please do dress accordingly (Layers are a must!).
Please also feel free to bring chairs if you don't fancy sitting on picnic blankets. Or Deckchairs are available to hire (book in advance to guarantee availability). If it does rain, the event still goes ahead, we'd definitely recommend chairs instead of blankets.
And Finally
We are only able to stage these events with the help and understanding of the numerous neighbours that we have around our venues, with this in mind please be considerate when leaving the site, please leave the site as tidy as you find it.
Please keep Essex tidy and bag your rubbish before you leave - We'll do the rest!

We are Essex's first and foremost supplier, promoter and general all round evangelists of outdoor cinema parties! We host events throughout Essex and cater to all audiences. Cinema should be accessible to everyone, and so are we!
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
